Senior Associate - FP&A

About the role

Gratitude India is hiring a Senior Associate in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in Bangalore on a permanent basis. The role suits candidates with 4-10 years of experience who have strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting and MIS, and supports business decisions through accurate financial analysis, performance tracking and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Perform monthly and quarterly analysis of actuals, targets, budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct detailed Actuals vs. Budget and Actuals vs. Forecast variance analysis.
• Manage CapEx and OpEx, including capital and revenue expenditure.
• Support project planning, accounting and financial tracking.
• Prepare and analyse monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Analyse complex financial information and give accurate, timely recommendations to management.
• Support operational decisions for Area Managers and Department Heads.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports, KPIs, scorecards and benchmarking reports, and consolidate results for management.
• Identify variance drivers, report budget and forecast variances with reasons and corrective actions, and drive cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain MIS reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• 4-10 years of relevant experience in FP&A or financial planning and analysis.
• Experience in project planning and accounting.
• Ability to work with business and operations teams and with senior management.
• PAN and date of birth required for profile creation; ex-TCS employees cannot apply.

Required skills

• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Understanding of CapEx, OpEx, accruals and prepayments.
• Preparation of MIS, KPI and management reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
