Senior Associate – Commercial Contracting (Legal)

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Associate to join the fast‑growing GDS GCO Enablement team. You will work closely with the Global General Counsel’s Office and support EY’s business on client and vendor contracts, acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize client agreements, NDAs, statements of work, service agreements, bids, proposals and subcontractor agreements.
• Manage EY internal risks related to independence, conflicts, service permissibility and third‑party collaborations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business teams and support the UK legal team.
• Coordinate with specialist functions such as Independence, Security, Privacy and Risk Management.
• Monitor changes in EY policies, organisational structure and procedures, and update global compliance tools.
• Assist on special projects that improve risk‑management and engagement‑lifecycle processes.

Required profile

• LL.B (or professional legal qualification) with solid experience in commercial contracting.
• Strong ability to assess transaction size, scope and risk, and to tailor contracts accordingly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing senior leaders.
• Highly responsive, detail‑oriented and able to manage a high volume of work efficiently.
