Senior Android Engineer (BLE & Jetpack Compose)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Android engineer to design and deliver high-quality native Android applications, with a focus on modern UI and Bluetooth Low Energy integration. The role involves leading architecture decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring performance and reliability of the product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable native Android applications, including BLE-enabled features.
• Architect application layers using reactive and asynchronous patterns (Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, or RxJava).
• Build modern user interfaces with Jetpack Compose following Android best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code adhering to architectural guidelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the app and connectivity layers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and hardware teams to define requirements and prioritize work.
• Drive code quality through testing, code reviews, and performance profiling.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in native Android development.
• Strong command of Kotlin and core Android fundamentals such as memory management, concurrency, and lifecycle.
• Proven experience building production-grade UIs with Jetpack Compose.
• Hands-on expertise with reactive/asynchronous programming (Coroutines & Flow or RxJava).
• Experience integrating Android applications with external peripherals, especially Bluetooth Low Energy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
