AWS DevOps Engineer (8+ years experience)

About the role

TCS is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to strengthen its Trivandrum delivery centre. The role will focus on designing, automating and maintaining cloud‑native CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for both production and non‑production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible and related tools.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment, configuration and operational management.
• Administer Linux and Windows environments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement and support DevOps toolchains, container platforms and deployment frameworks.
• Manage application platforms, middleware and database services.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues across production and non‑production systems.
• Promote DevOps best practices, tooling standards and automation initiatives.
• Document processes and provide knowledge transfer to development and operations teams.
• Participate in release management and ongoing operational support.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud engineering or related fields.
• Strong background in Linux/Windows system administration.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
