Senior Advisor/Director, Process Engineering – Peptides & Small Molecule

About the role

The Senior Advisor/Director of Process Engineering will lead the design, optimization and scale‑up of laboratory‑scale processes for peptide and small‑molecule drug substances and products at Lilly’s Manufacturing and Quality Technical Hub in Hyderabad.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands‑on engineering support for the design, optimization and scale‑up of laboratory‑scale processes for drug substances and drug products.
• Partner with TS/MS scientists in the United States and Ireland to develop and refine laboratory‑scale processes.
• Establish, maintain and optimize unit operations in the process development laboratory, including chromatography, filtration and related techniques.
• Deliver high‑quality technical solutions, ensure reliable laboratory operations and support technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering groups and development scientists to drive robust manufacturing processes.
