Senior Accountant

About the role

SOTI is seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join its Finance organization. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will manage global month‑end processes, tax compliance, and financial reporting for APAC and other regions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full month‑end cycle globally, including working papers, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly consolidated chart of accounts and financial reports.
• Support year‑end and statutory audits for corporate entities and subsidiaries.
• Handle tax compliance, including preparation, filing, payment, and reconciliation of advance tax, TDS, and GST returns.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure a robust control environment.
• Assist the Corporate Controller with integration of accounting, reporting, and systems for new entities.
• Provide ad‑hoc reports and special project support.
• Liaise with external accountants, tax authorities, and auditors for audits and litigations.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (mandatory).
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a mid‑size or public company.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a cloud‑based accounting system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
• Experience working in an ERP environment.
