Senior Accountant – GL Accounting Operations (Cash Management)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will apply professional accounting expertise to resolve a variety of accounting matters across global operations. This role focuses on month‑end close activities for higher‑risk and complex jurisdictions, ensuring accurate cash‑management reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Generate month‑end management reports and support cash‑management reporting.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Participate in departmental and organization‑wide process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and the Global Process Manager on accounting issues.
• Contribute to project work and notify management of irregularities in payments, refunds, or coding.
• Apply general accounting principles to transaction accounting and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Experience working with auditors and cross‑functional finance teams.
• Ability to support process improvement and project initiatives.
