Security Supervisor – Airport (Delhi)

About the role

The Security Supervisor will act as the primary point of contact for all security matters at the Delhi airport station. Reporting to the Airport Services Manager and the Security Controller, the role ensures compliance with Emirates, Indian, and international aviation security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and supervise aviation security policies and procedures to meet Emirates and local (India) requirements.
• Liaise with DGCA, BCAS, airport operators, immigration, customs, and contracted security agencies.
• Disseminate security standards, regulations, and procedures to all station departments.
• Report, investigate, and document any unlawful or suspicious activities affecting aircraft, passengers, staff, or cargo.
• Ensure all cargo is screened and maintain records of general, express, and valuable shipments.
• Supervise surveillance of check‑in counters, boarding gates, aircraft, catering, cargo screening, and holding areas.
• Coordinate deployment and billing of contracted security services in line with contracts.
• Prepare daily flight, incident, investigation, roster, leave, and monthly station reports.

Required profile

• Must meet the regulatory requirement for a Security Supervisor as defined by the Aviation Security Order 5 of 2009 and the National Civil Aviation Security Programme.
• Proven experience in airport or aviation security operations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian civil aviation security regulations (DGCA, BCAS) and Emirates security programmes.
• Ability to work under pressure, make rapid decisions, and communicate effectively with multiple authorities.
