About the role
The Security Officer will provide a visible security presence at the Howrah site, safeguarding people, property and assets. This full‑time, on‑site position involves regular patrols, access control, and rapid response to incidents.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor entry/exit points.
- Check identification, credentials and visitor logs.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, reporting any suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies and security breaches.
- Document events in incident reports and maintain accurate logs.
- Collaborate with site management and follow company security protocols.
Required profile
- Strong observation, situational awareness and basic risk‑assessment abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, visitors and team members.
- Physical fitness to stand, patrol and react quickly to incidents.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Required skills
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring.
- Knowledge of access control systems.
- Understanding of common security devices.
