Security Managed Services Senior Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Security Managed Services Senior Analyst to join our 24x7 security operations centre. The role involves monitoring, analysing and responding to security events for our customers while continuously improving detection capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Work in a rotational shift as part of a 24x7 analysis team.
• Monitor security logs, network traffic and alerts from a variety of devices.
• Provide timely responses to customer requests, including detection tuning and capability enhancements.
• Research emerging threats and recommend improvements to detection rules.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement opportunities within the SOC.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Adaptability to changing environments and continuous learning mindset.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience in SOC operations with customer‑facing responsibilities.
• Deep understanding of cyber‑security fundamentals, security devices, network defence concepts and the threat landscape.
• Proficiency with SIEM and threat‑hunting tools.
• Experience with SOAR platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language and familiarity with EDR products.
• Relevant certifications such as GCIA, GCFA or CISSP are desirable.
