Security & Loss Prevention Expert – Global Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking a proactive Security & Loss Prevention (SLP) Expert to protect its worldwide operations network. In this role you will lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, implement security measures, and ensure operational continuity across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and implement site‑level security improvements and process optimisation initiatives.
• Support business resilience by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for assigned sites.
• Identify vulnerabilities such as loss or associate experience issues and define mitigating actions while complying with legal, ethical and Amazon security standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for risk management, coordinating with local management, law‑enforcement agencies and industry associations.
• Own security and loss‑prevention projects at local, regional and country levels.
• Conduct regular physical security audits, investigate policy violations, incidents and loss events.
• Collect and analyse data from monitoring systems, reports and interviews to uncover trends.
• Maintain and improve physical security infrastructure, manage supplier budgets and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Deliver education and awareness programs on security and loss prevention across all management levels.
