Security Bodyguard & Driver (VIP Protection)

About the role

The Security Bodyguard cum Driver provides close protection to VIP clients while safely operating their vehicle. This dual‑role position requires vigilance, defensive driving expertise, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide close physical protection to designated VIPs during travel and public appearances.
• Conduct route surveys, risk assessments and coordinate contingency plans.
• Operate assigned sedan/SUV/armored vehicle in compliance with traffic rules and VIP protocols.
• Perform pre‑trip vehicle checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• React promptly to attacks, medical emergencies or road incidents, evacuating the principal and notifying authorities.
• Maintain confidentiality of client schedules, locations and personal matters.
• Secure the vehicle when parked, monitor surroundings and report suspicious activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 10th pass (12th preferred); valid LMV driving licence.
• 3‑5 years accident‑free driving experience.
• 3‑7 years experience in personal security or VIP driving; ex‑serviceman or PSO background preferred.
• Age 28‑50 years, height at least 5’8”, physically fit and alert.

Required skills

• Defensive/evasive driving techniques.
• First aid administration.
• Knowledge of security protocols and threat assessment.
