Scrum Master (m/f/d) – GDB/DH

About the role

As a Scrum Master in BASF's Digital Hub Hyderabad, you will act as a servant‑leader for one or more agile teams, helping them deliver high‑quality digital products and services. You will foster a collaborative environment, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement across the development platform that standardises app and AI development.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and coach Scrum teams and the DevHub on effective Agile practices, enabling self‑management and high performance.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement, prioritisation, and alignment to broader product and organisational goals.
• Assess and raise the Agile maturity of teams, steering them toward higher effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Translate product priorities into clear team goals and actionable improvements.
• Help teams focus on high‑impact work by reducing waste, limiting unnecessary complexity, and improving flow.
• Adapt Agile practices to the specific context of each team to ensure optimal delivery.

Required profile

• Strong servant‑leadership mindset with the ability to coach and mentor cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to foster collaboration and transparency.
• Experience in guiding Product Owners and managing product backlogs.
• Ability to assess team maturity and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
• Backlog management and prioritisation techniques.
• Facilitation of Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, Retrospective).
