SAP Vertex RnA Techno-Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a SAP Vertex Revenue and Accounting (RnA) Techno-Functional Consultant to design, implement and support solutions that meet complex business requirements. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration of Vertex RnA modules with SAP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement Vertex RnA solutions covering master agreements, pricing, buckets, claims and calculation runs.
• Configure and support Vertex RnA modules, ensuring smooth integration with SAP systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, conduct testing, and manage deployments.
• Provide post‑production support, troubleshoot functional and technical issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate custom developments with technical teams.
• Support data validation, reconciliations and optimisation of revenue accounting processes.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Vertex Incentive Processing concepts and revenue accounting.
• Basic technical understanding of SAP ABAP OO, CDS Views and AMDP.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in end‑to‑end implementation and support of Vertex RnA.

Required skills

• Vertex RnA concepts: Master Agreement, Agreement & Deals, Pricing, Buckets, Claims, Transactional & Composite Calculation Runs, Postings.
• ABAP OO programming.
• CDS Views development.
• AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
