SAP FI/CO Finance Lead

About the role

3M is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Finance Lead to drive finance‑technology initiatives for its Bangalore operations. The role combines deep finance knowledge with SAP expertise to deliver end‑to‑end solutions and support the local Finance IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the local Finance IT team, ensuring high performance and collaborative culture.
• Design, configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules for prioritized finance projects.
• Deliver end‑to‑end SAP solutions, overseeing implementation, testing and rollout.
• Monitor service delivery, manage SLA performance and reduce high‑priority incident volume.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SOX controls and global reporting obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting SAP FI/CO solutions.
• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP FI and CO configuration and customization.
• 5+ years of IT experience supporting finance, controlling, accounting, treasury or tax functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
