SAP FICO Consultant (AMS Controlling) – Hybrid

About the role

BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad is hiring an SAP FICO consultant focused on AMS Controlling (CO-PC, CO-PA, margin analysis) for a permanent, hybrid position. The consultant works in an agile development team, taking end-to-end responsibility for projects and supporting incident and problem resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operation and project delivery across all phases, executing business requirements engineering and provisioning standard IT features.
• Analyze and correct incidents and problems, providing second and third-level support.
• Work on user stories, develop and test new features within the agile team.
• Guide, coach and train team members and build competencies for the respective modules.
• Own end-to-end deliverables on assigned projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Business IT, Business Economics, Information Science, Engineering or Natural Science.
• At least 6 years of experience on complex SAP applications.
• Experience in global AMS support teams covering ticket resolution, maintenance, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Agile DevOps mindset with hands-on experience in Scrum, user stories, testing and documentation.
• Integration and cross-module awareness, including optional integration with PaPM and tax engine apps, and ideally experience rolling out e-invoicing solutions across countries integrated with S/4.

Required skills

• Strong AMS Controlling knowledge: Product Costing (CO-PC), Material Ledger, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and Margin Analysis.
• Strong practical and customizing knowledge of CO-PA and margin analysis.
• S/4HANA experience.
