SAP ECC Belgian Payroll Consultant (Freelance, Remote – India)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ECC Belgian Payroll (PY-BE) consultant to join our team on a long‑term freelance basis. The role is fully remote from India and focuses on supporting a complex SAP HCM payroll landscape with a strong emphasis on Belgian payroll compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert for SAP ECC Belgian Payroll (PY-BE).
• Analyse and resolve complex payroll calculation issues.
• Configure and enhance payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, and payroll functions.
• Implement Belgian legal and statutory updates and support year‑end activities.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of payroll discrepancies and provide functional/techno‑functional guidance.
• Collaborate with payroll stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with SAP ECC Payroll, specialised in Belgian payroll (PY‑BE).
• Proven track record configuring payroll schemas, PCRs and wage types.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Ability to work independently on complex issues and support large‑scale payroll environments.
