SAP Datasphere Platform Engineer (GDB/Z)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Datasphere Platform Engineer to join our data foundation team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and operating enterprise‑scale analytics platforms built on SAP technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain SAP BW/4 and SAP Datasphere/Data Warehouse Cloud environments.
• Configure and manage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) components, including Cloud Connector, Spaces, Connections, and Data Flows.
• Develop semantic models, business layers, and ensure data lineage across the platform.
• Integrate SAP Analytics Cloud to enable self‑service reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with cloud teams to leverage Azure, AWS, or GCP services and support federated query architectures.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation for architecture decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or analytics platform design.
• Proven hands‑on experience with SAP BW/4, SAP Datasphere, and SAP BTP.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic layers, and data lineage concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical solutions.
