SAP Consultant Finance (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Consultant to join our agile delivery team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP S/4HANA Finance configurations.
• Configure and customize General Ledger (FI‑GL), Asset Accounting (FI‑AA) and Lease Accounting (RE‑FX) modules.
• Ensure stable IT operations through incident handling, root‑cause analysis and continuous optimization.
• Develop and test new features based on user stories within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Coach and train team members to build competency in the finance modules.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of project deliverables.
• Evaluate and apply AI tools to improve documentation, testing and analysis while ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO, especially FI‑GL, FI‑AA and RE‑FX.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and local GAAP accounting principles.
• 5+ years of experience in full SAP delivery lifecycle and complex S/4HANA environments.
• Background in global Application Management Services (AMS) with ticket resolution and troubleshooting.
• Agile DevOps mindset with hands‑on Scrum experience.
• Awareness of cross‑module integration (CO, MM) and optional experience with BTP and Fiori.
• Interest and practical exposure to AI tools in an IT context.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
