Salesforce Power BI & Databricks Architect

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad as a technical architecture expert for the Sales Reporting team. You will shape the foundation of scalable, secure, and high‑performing reporting solutions that drive data‑driven insights across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced reporting patterns such as dataset reuse, composite models, incremental refresh, and performance optimisation using DAX and best‑practice model design.
• Define connection strategies between Power BI, Salesforce, Databricks and multiple data sources, ensuring efficient data access and secure integration.
• Enable embedding of Power BI reports into external applications (e.g., Salesforce) with robust authentication and authorization flows.
• Support AI‑driven analytics, Copilot features, and chatbot‑based data access to enhance actionable customer insights.
• Collaborate with the Reporting Lead and Product Owner to translate strategic decisions into reliable technical implementations.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics or a comparable technical field.
• More than 5 years of professional experience with Salesforce and Power BI.
• Proven experience in data architecture, integration and reporting solutions.
