Sales Representative – FMCG (Raipur)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to expand our presence in the Raipur market for Dadi’s – BayLeaf Spice, a fast‑growing FMCG company specializing in quality spices and blended masalas. You will be the primary point of contact with retailers, wholesalers and distributors, driving sales growth and ensuring product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Visit retailers, wholesalers and distributors regularly within the assigned territory.
• Achieve daily, monthly and quarterly sales targets and generate new orders.
• Develop new retail accounts and explore additional business opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing retailers and distributors.
• Ensure proper product display, visibility and merchandising at all outlets.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, product launches and market activities.
• Collect and submit daily market and field reports as per company guidelines.
• Follow the prescribed beat plan, route plan and attendance procedures.
• Provide regular market feedback to the reporting manager.
• Follow up on orders, payments, stock availability and customer requirements.
• Uphold professional conduct and 100% compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in food production, FMCG or related sectors.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to engage diverse customers.
• Ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities and contribute to local sales strategies.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and managing time effectively.
• Comfortable working on‑site, visiting client locations around Raipur and handling field‑based activities.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail for order management and follow‑up.
• Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
