Sales Engineer

About the role

Gain, the Private Markets Super App, is looking for a Sales Engineer to join its Bangalore team. The role bridges Engineering and Sales/Customer Success, providing technical guidance and integration support for existing clients and new prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical and security requests from Sales and Customer Success.
• Respond to ad‑hoc data requests across the company.
• Advise and assist clients with API integrations.
• Set up custom CRM integrations for existing clients.
• Implement and maintain Single Sign‑On (SSO) solutions, troubleshoot SSO issues and communicate with stakeholders.
• Enhance client security standards.
• Assist Engineering with product QA testing and root‑cause analysis.
• Act as the technical point of contact during and after the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical foundation with experience in APIs, cloud infrastructure, SQL databases, and SSO/SAML.
• Ability to draft technical responses, RFI/P submissions, and customer‑facing documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven stakeholder management across internal and external teams.
