Sales Director / Manager - Africa

About the role

The Sales Director / Manager – Africa is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion and strategic client acquisition across the region, working closely with delivery, product, marketing and partner ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver regional sales targets, pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy across the Africa region.
• Drive new logo acquisition and expand strategic accounts in banking, wealth management, asset management and capital markets.
• Build and maintain C‑suite relationships, lead complex multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and act as trusted advisor on business transformation.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle from qualification to contract signing, partnering with pre‑sales and delivery teams to shape winning proposals.
• Develop and manage a regional partner ecosystem, executing co‑sell initiatives with system integrators and advisory firms.
• Track market trends and competitive dynamics, feeding insights into product and pricing strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of sales experience in banking, wealth management or fintech, with a proven record in the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations, technology trends and client challenges.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior executives.
• Ability to lead and mentor sales teams and collaborate across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; MBA is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite for presentations and reporting.
• Familiarity with banking and wealth‑management software solutions.
