Sales & Business Development Deputy Manager – Fire Detection

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, results‑driven Sales and Business Development Deputy Manager to lead growth of Bosch’s Fire Detection and Safety System portfolio in Kolkata. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships and driving revenue while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through strategic account management.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive research to inform strategy and spot emerging trends.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and business cases tailored to client needs.
• Manage the sales pipeline, track progress against metrics and forecasts.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve favorable terms.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and product development to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Deliver client meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, PGDM or MBA.
• 3‑5+ years of proven sales or business development experience in fire alarm systems (Bosch or similar premium brands preferred).
• Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to interpret market data.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking and ability to develop business development initiatives.
• Experience working in cross‑functional team environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
