Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant is responsible for keeping guest rooms and corridors clean, comfortable and well‑presented in line with hotel standards. This is a full‑time, on‑site position at Gokulam Grand Hotel & Spa in Bengaluru, offering the chance to work in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise rooms and bathrooms, make beds and replenish amenities and linens.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Handle laundry tasks for room linens, towels and guest clothing with care.
• Store supplies properly and keep housekeeping carts and closets organised.
• Interact courteously with guests, respond to their requests and support a positive guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong housekeeping skills and ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience with laundry operations and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift and carry for extended periods.
• Reliability, flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays, and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred; basic education and understanding of cleanliness practices are beneficial.
