Room Attendant – Housekeeping

About the role

Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is seeking reliable and detail‑oriented individuals to join its housekeeping team as Room Attendants. In this role you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, contributing directly to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Hyatt brand standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
• Sanitize bathrooms, mirrors, fixtures, floors, and all guestroom surfaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and maintain the overall cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Inspect rooms for presentation, functionality, and any maintenance issues, reporting them promptly.
• Maintain orderly housekeeping carts, storage areas, and workspaces.
• Greet guests courteously, respond to requests, and communicate needs to appropriate departments.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning projects, public‑area cleaning, and special tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, cleaning, or custodial experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift up to 30 lb regularly (up to 50 lb occasionally) and work on feet for extended periods.
