Robotics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to join TELUS Digital’s AI‑focused team. In this role you will create and scale AI‑driven perception and control systems that power autonomous and embodied solutions for our global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy AI/ML models for robotics perception and decision‑making.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and distributed architectures supporting large‑scale data pipelines.
• Build and maintain data‑intensive platforms that ingest multimodal sensor streams such as images, video, LiDAR and time‑series data.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate simulation, Sim2Real workflows and real‑time sensor synchronization.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and solid C++ experience for high‑performance components.
• Proven experience delivering AI or machine‑learning systems in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with multimodal data (images, video, sensor data, text, time‑series).
• Excellent debugging, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
