Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager supports strategic initiatives of the Food & Beverage Service Department, creating memorable moments for guests and fostering an empowered team environment. Acting as a brand ambassador, the role ensures compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of the restaurant, delivering the highest levels of guest food & beverage service while meeting property and company standards.
• Lead and collaborate with the team to maximize guest satisfaction, providing a responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Support business strategies, own assigned areas of responsibility, and deputize for the Head of Department when absent.
• Partner with the Head of Department to foster a culture of growth, development, and performance while promoting company values.
• Control costs and departmental inventory, ensuring target productivity and performance levels are achieved.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and activity coordination.
• Lead departmental programmes that advance service standards, profitability, and cost control, incorporating environmental considerations.
• Ensure adherence to legislation, planning and documenting due‑diligence activities for internal and external audits and performing follow‑up as required.
