Repair Fitter

About the role

The Repair Fitter is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical equipment operates at optimal efficiency and reliability. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and testing to keep production lines running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain technical condition of equipment to achieve high utilization rates.
• Organise proper installation and servicing to guarantee uninterrupted, high‑quality operation.
• Carry out repair and preventive maintenance, manage correct usage, and arrange necessary spare parts.
• Perform thorough mechanical repairs with a focus on quality.
• Participate in post‑repair testing to verify that equipment parameters meet standards.
• Operate drilling, bending, and cutting machines, and fabricate non‑standard components as required.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Conduct repair work on furnace lines.
• Follow company safety regulations (EMTT) to create a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Attention to detail when testing equipment after repairs.
