Repair Electrician 1

About the role

The Repair Electrician is responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and comprehensive maintenance of high, medium and low voltage electrical equipment in substations and other facilities. The role ensures continuous, quality operation of all electrical systems through proper installation, testing and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble high, medium and low voltage electrical equipment, performing both major and routine repairs.
• Organize and guarantee uninterrupted, high‑quality operation of electrical devices by ensuring correct installation and servicing.
• Centralize and adjust high, medium and low voltage motors and related equipment according to schematics, diagnosing and correcting defects.
• Participate in testing procedures after repairs to verify that equipment parameters meet normal standards.
• Repair, install and dismantle all cable lines within the plant, including connections and terminations.
• Carry out maintenance on overhead lines at various voltage levels, including de‑energising and reconnecting them.
• Continuously monitor the condition of operational and backup voltage sources.
• Inspect, repair and install relay protection schemes.
• Adjust, replace and repair electrical contacts, switches, breakers and low‑voltage/high‑voltage switches in substations and electrical rooms.
• Conduct comprehensive post‑repair testing and prepare equipment for operational use.
• Use tools, devices and protective equipment efficiently and store them according to regulations.
• Adhere to occupational safety and technical security rules throughout all work processes.
• Maintain cleanliness of substations and electrical rooms.
• Participate in the repair, inspection and operation of electric equipment on new dry‑type furnace technological lines.
• Perform electrical‑mounting tasks and, when required, work in rotating shift schedules.
