About the role

We are looking for a Remote Social Media Community Manager to join a leading software development company. The role focuses on moderating user‑generated content, driving engagement, and maintaining a positive environment across forums and social channels.

Key responsibilities

• Moderate discussions, social media feeds and member‑generated content to ensure respectful and constructive interactions.
• Design and execute engagement strategies that increase active participation and user retention.
• Respond promptly to member inquiries, feedback and escalations.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align community initiatives with business goals.
• Track community health metrics, analyze trends and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience moderating online communities or forums with an emphasis on quality and inclusivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for public‑facing interactions.
• Ability to interpret data and report on engagement metrics.
• Familiarity with content moderation policies and best practices.
