Remote Medical Doctor (MD) – AI Evaluation (Hourly)

About the role

This remote, contract position is for board‑certified or board‑eligible physicians who will apply their clinical expertise to support advanced artificial‑intelligence research. You will design realistic patient scenarios, create reference clinical responses, and evaluate AI‑generated answers to improve safety and accuracy of next‑generation medical AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design clinically realistic prompts and patient cases aligned with your specialty.
• Develop high‑quality reference responses that demonstrate attending‑level reasoning.
• Assess AI‑generated medical outputs using structured evaluation criteria, focusing on diagnosis, treatment planning, risk stratification and guideline adherence.
• Provide detailed written feedback to guide improvements in AI performance.
• Participate in onboarding and specialty calibration sessions to ensure consistent evaluation standards.

Required profile

• Board‑certified attending physician, final‑year resident, or fellow with an active, unrestricted medical license in the United States or Canada.
• Strong clinical reasoning and evidence‑based decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, committing 20+ hours per week.
