Reliability & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to oversee facility and administrative activities at our Gujarat site. The role ensures smooth operation of electrical, mechanical and control systems through preventive maintenance, corrective repairs and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly technical checks according to the PPM schedule.
• Respond to trouble tickets for corrective maintenance, service and repair work.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty and AMC support.
• Monitor energy consumption, maintain DG sets and manage power distribution systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, electrical wiring, transformers, lighting and control circuits.
• Install, service and diagnose relay logic, ladder diagrams, motor starters, sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters and encoders.
• Carry out minor civil, plumbing and fire safety inspections, including fire alarm and extinguisher checks.
• Prepare daily reports on ticket closures, root‑cause analysis and tools inventory.
• Oversee soft services such as pest control, housekeeping and waste disposal, and manage agency staff on shift.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or engineering within an industrial environment.
• Background in electrical, mechanical, electronics, instrumentation or controls.
• Ability to work safely, follow permits for hot work and height work, and support production needs.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM) procedures.
• Power distribution, transformers, lighting and wiring systems.
• Conveyor system maintenance.
• Relay logic, ladder diagram troubleshooting.
• Motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, photo eyes, timers, solenoids.
• Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, encoders.
• DG set operation and energy consumption monitoring.
• Vendor coordination for warranty/AMC.
• Basic civil, plumbing and fire safety checks.
