About the role

Al-Ahli Hospital is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its acute‑care team in Kottayam. The role involves delivering direct patient care, adhering to clinical guidelines, and supporting a safe, infection‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop care plans, and evaluate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and uphold international patient‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid RN license with a nursing diploma or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven clinical experience in assessment, patient monitoring, and evidence‑based bedside care.
• Strong knowledge of infection control, patient safety protocols, and documentation standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or other specialty certifications (beneficial).
• Medication administration.
