Regional Sales Manager – Unsecured Direct Sales

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our Unsecured Direct Sales team in Vijayawada. The role focuses on driving growth of personal and business loan products, expanding the customer base, and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the unsecured direct sales team to meet assigned targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for personal loans, business loans, and other unsecured lending products.
• Acquire new customers through direct sales channels, market visits and relationship building.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and implement corrective actions.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence across the region.
• Ensure quality sourcing, proper documentation and compliance with credit guidelines.
• Collaborate with Credit, Operations, Collections and other internal teams for smooth processing.
• Track competitor activities, market trends and customer needs.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop sales team members.
• Prepare regular business reports and provide market insights to senior management.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of sales experience, preferably in unsecured lending, personal or business loans.
• Prior experience managing a direct sales team.
• Strong knowledge of Vijayawada and surrounding markets.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and team‑management abilities.
• Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing is an advantage.
