Regional Head – Gold Loans (Patna)

About the role

The Regional Head – Gold Loans for the Patna region will lead the execution of the gold‑loan strategy, driving growth, profitability and portfolio quality across the assigned geography. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees multiple area heads and a distributed network of branches to meet AUM, disbursement, P&L, expansion and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the national gold‑loan strategy into a regional execution plan while maintaining strict risk discipline.
• Achieve targets for assets under management, loan disbursements, profitability and branch network expansion.
• Build and nurture new relationships with enabling functions and regional stakeholders.
• Manage a large team comprising area heads and branch staff, providing leadership and performance oversight.
• Define business plans, manpower structures and productivity benchmarks aligned with corporate objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and market developments, taking corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in NBFC or gold‑loan business with a proven track record of regional leadership.
• Strong relationship‑building capabilities across internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to balance rapid growth with rigorous risk management.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the financial services sector.
• Experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
