Recruiter I – Full Cycle Talent Acquisition

About the role

Amex GBT is looking for a Recruiter I to own the end‑to‑end hiring process for less complex roles (below M3). You will partner with business leaders, source both active and passive talent, and ensure a smooth candidate experience while contributing to broader talent‑acquisition projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions, from requisition to offer.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring strategies and workforce needs.
• Source, engage, and assess candidates through multiple channels, including passive talent pools.
• Conduct structured interviews and provide fair, consistent evaluations.
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering market insights, salary benchmarks, and hiring recommendations.
• Maintain strong candidate communication and feedback throughout the process.
• Support TA leadership on initiatives such as employer branding, diversity hiring, and process improvements.
• Negotiate offers, close candidates, and provide data‑driven hiring updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of recruiting experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to meet hiring targets and deadlines.
• Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Experience managing recruitment in EMEA or APAC (outside India) is preferred.
• Willingness to work from the office at least once a month.
