Recruiter – Automotive, Steel & Manufacturing (2‑Year Contract)

You will act as a trusted talent advisor to hiring leaders, delivering exceptional candidate experiences while shaping proactive sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to define position specifications and provide market data.
• Develop and manage recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate candidate profiles, build talent pipelines and present strong candidate slates.
• Maintain candidate engagement throughout the process with timely updates.
• Partner with hiring leaders on offer details using market data and compensation guidelines.
• Provide market insights and compensation recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Proven recruiting experience in corporate, RPO or agency settings, preferably within automotive, steel, metals, manufacturing or related industries.
• Familiarity with HR principles, metrics and recruitment processes.
• Experience recruiting within one or more of the following sectors: automotive, steel, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, production.

Required skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media recruiting tools.
• Knowledge of common Human Resources practices and talent acquisition metrics.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms for talent sourcing.
