Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

Envalior is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join its laboratory team in India. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of PA/PBT materials throughout the production cycle, supporting innovation and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QA testing on raw, in‑process and finished PA/PBT materials.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs and work instructions for laboratory activities.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment such as MVR, viscosity testers, mechanical testing rigs and injection molding machines.
• Ensure calibration and validation of all testing equipment.
• Handle ERP and barcode systems for traceability and documentation.
• Conduct colour matching and support customer sample requirements.
• Maintain 5S and safety standards in the laboratory.
• Train apprentices on quality control practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers for calibration, AMC and spare parts.
• Support global round‑robin and external testing activities.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and warehouse teams.
• Initiate supplier complaints and assist in customer complaint analysis.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

Required profile

• Diploma or Engineering degree in Plastics/Polymer Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant QA experience in a polymer or materials environment.
• Knowledge of material testing standards (ISO).
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory testing equipment.
