QA Automation Manager (Architect)

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Manager to lead our quality assurance automation efforts. The role combines strategic planning, hands‑on development, and team leadership to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA automation engineers.
• Define and execute a comprehensive QA automation strategy aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate, select, and implement automation tools and frameworks.
• Establish best practices, standards, and metrics for automation processes.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Oversee design, development, and execution of manual and automated test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management on QA activities and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 14+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• 5+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within QA.
• Experience in e‑commerce or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Automation tools such as Tricentis, Selenium or similar.
• API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• CI/CD platforms including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps.
• Experience with API testing, ETL/ELT testing, performance testing, and security testing.
