About the role
We are seeking a highly talented Purchasing Account Team Buyer to join our purchasing team in Bangalore. You will manage supplier operations, coordinate purchasing activities, and support our global semiconductor equipment business.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for supplier operational management including forecasts, purchase orders, FGIs, ECOs, obsolescence, MRP actions, transitions, repairs, service agreements and on‑time delivery.
- Coordinate purchasing activities with planning and engineering to maintain inventory at planned levels.
- Lead supplier quality activities in collaboration with manufacturing and engineering.
- Expedite escalations to ensure timely receipt of materials and resolve material‑related accounting and receiving issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (engineering preferred).
- More than 6 years of experience in purchasing.
- High level of English (writing, speaking, reading).
- Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- SAP MM expertise.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
