Pump & Boiler Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Pump & Boiler Maintenance Technician to join Apollo Hospitals’ facilities team. The role involves ensuring reliable operation of the hospital’s water treatment plant, boilers, and associated fire safety systems, supporting uninterrupted patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain all pumps and boilers, including temperature control of hot water.
• Monitor and operate the water treatment plant, record water hardness, and maintain water quality logs.
• Maintain tank levels for overhead, fire, and raw water tanks and keep required registers.
• Perform back‑washing, cleaning, and regeneration of filters and softeners.
• Oversee fire protection equipment such as hydrants, sprinklers, and jockey pumps.
• Inspect bathroom and toilet facilities for leaks, blockages, and hot‑water availability.
• Respond to daily maintenance complaints, log issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th and 12th.
• 3–5 years of experience handling pump rooms, boilers, and water treatment plants.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to multitask.
• Compassionate attitude with good communication skills.
• Effective teamwork orientation.
