Public Area Executive – Housekeeping

About the role

The Public Area Executive ensures that all public spaces of the hotel are clean, safe, and presentable at all times. You will work across lobbies, corridors, restrooms, banquet areas and other common zones, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobby, reception, corridors, elevators, public restrooms, restaurants, banquet spaces, meeting rooms, gym, spa and outdoor walkways.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors and surfaces according to hotel standards.
• Stock public washrooms with soap, tissues and hand towels; manage waste disposal.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the relevant department.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning machinery safely.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning projects and set‑up for special events.
• Respond promptly to guest requests related to public area cleanliness.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping, facility maintenance or hospitality is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard cleaning methods and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Capability to operate housekeeping equipment safely.
