Project Manager – Regulatory Reporting (COREP/FINREP)

About the role

KPMG India is looking for a highly driven Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives in regulatory reporting, trade lifecycle management, and data governance. The role will oversee end‑to‑end delivery of projects aligned with COREP, FINREP and other compliance requirements, working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives covering trade lifecycle, regulatory reporting and compliance transformation.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones and deliverables; track progress through structured governance frameworks.
• Maintain RAID logs and ensure timely risk mitigation.
• Lead projects related to COREP, FINREP and ensure timely, accurate regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate data aggregation across regulatory, finance and technology teams.
• Drive data quality improvements and reconciliation processes across front‑office to back‑office.
• Act as primary contact for senior stakeholders, lead steering committee and Target Operating Model meetings.
• Prepare executive‑level presentations with actionable insights.
• Establish project governance, produce status reports, dashboards and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale regulatory reporting or compliance projects.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and data governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with senior business leaders.
• Ability to drive change through structured governance and disciplined execution.
