Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee end‑to‑end delivery of customer orders, ensuring alignment with quoted terms, coordinating internal teams, and maintaining project profitability while fostering strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile new orders with quoted terms and report discrepancies to Sales.
• Plan and lead internal project kick‑off meetings, clarifying customer requirements.
• Prepare organisational charts for new projects and lead team during customer kick‑off meetings.
• Secure correct specifications and document approvals for Operations execution.
• Track specification changes, communicate updates, and ensure implementation.
• Provide periodic project summaries and status reports to stakeholders and management.
• Monitor project progress, record minutes, and ensure “Zero LDs” across all projects.
• Drive gross‑profit improvement through cost reduction, slim‑spec design, and change‑order management.
• Maintain healthy cash flow by ensuring timely invoicing with supporting documents.
• Handle legal aspects such as trade compliance, shipment formalities, visas, and minimum‑wage requirements.
• Develop LBPs for future independent execution and ensure comprehensive project closure.
• Be ready for short‑ or long‑term business trips and possess knowledge of delivery and intercompany terms.

• Confidence and effective communication at all organisational levels.
• Ability to understand strategic issues impacting functional deliverables.
• Proactive, professional demeanor in written and verbal interactions.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in Ovation hardware.
• In‑depth knowledge of shipment terms and delivery/intercompany terms.
• Project management competence (PMP certification preferred).
