Project Manager Electrical Division

About the role

Cunado Group is seeking a Project Manager for its Electrical Division at the Chennai headquarters. The role involves overseeing electrical projects, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from award through delivery to site.
• Organise PO kick‑off meetings and subsequent vendor meetings.
• Analyse suppliers, pricing and quality.
• Prepare client‑requested documentation and follow‑up reports.
• Visit manufacturers and customers, place orders, and track shipments.
• Coordinate freight forwarders, clients and vendors for shipping, customs clearance and documentation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly expediting reports for clients.
• Collaborate with headquarters and international branches.

Required profile

• High level of English.
• Good command of Excel.
• Strong knowledge of cable markets for Oil & Gas and Energy projects.
• Demonstrable experience managing electrical projects.
• Initiative, autonomy and a passion for quality.
• Negotiation skills and ability to reach agreements.
• Ability to work on multiple projects using a systematic approach.
