Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure - Water

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the design of civil infrastructure water projects for AECOM in Gurugram. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from planning through to delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process for water supply, drainage and wastewater treatment plant projects, from concept to final delivery.
• Manage and inspire multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating with other AECOM offices for multicenter projects.
• Oversee design stages, monitor progress, conduct review meetings and mitigate design risks.
• Control design budgets, optimise resource allocation and ensure compliance with quality standards and client specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 15–20 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects, especially water supply, drainage or wastewater treatment.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• PMP certification and experience in ME, ANZ or UK&I are a plus.
