Project Manager – Banking/Payments (7-15 yrs)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead banking and payments initiatives for our Mumbai delivery centre. The role involves overseeing large‑scale programmes, managing budgets and driving process improvements while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and track release management activities across scope, design, delivery and testing phases.
• Conduct daily scrum meetings to identify dependencies, monitor progress and allocate work.
• Manage multiple releases simultaneously within large programmes, maintaining quality and timelines.
• Monitor and control project costs and budgets.
• Implement process‑improvement initiatives and foster a culture of zero rework.
• Prepare senior‑management reports and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customer‑facing teams and prospect interactions when required.

Required profile

• 7–15 years of experience in project management, preferably in banking or payments domains.
• Strong functional understanding of banking product implementation.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex programmes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and senior‑management reporting skills.
• Self‑motivated learner capable of piloting innovations with minimal guidance.
