Project Engineer - Solar Rooftop PV

About the role

Monalisa Group of Services is hiring two Project Engineers for solar rooftop PV projects, based in Mumbai. The engineer manages the engineering design of projects, works closely with clients on design concepts, prepares designs and calculations, and delivers the Bill of Materials with technical details. Candidates must speak English, Hindi and Marathi and join within 15 days.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering design of projects, understand client requirements and interact with clients daily on design and engineering concepts
• Prepare designs, calculations and deliverables, including the Bill of Materials with technical details
• Design DC and AC sides: select equipment, calculate switchgear and protection ratings, size cables, perform earthing calculations and analyse existing configurations
• Design DC side of rooftop PV projects: stringing calculations, module selection and inverter range
• Perform shadow analysis and prepare PVsyst reports to estimate plant yield
• Willingness to travel for site visits

Required profile

• B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in the solar industry
• English, Hindi and Marathi
• Joining within 15 days
