Tekla Structures Implementation Consultant - Chennai

About the role

Trimble's Professional Services team in India is looking for an Onboarding and Implementation Specialist to join its Professional Services team in Chennai. Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, Training & Onboarding (India), you will act as the technical advisor for new and existing Tekla Structures accounts across India, owning discovery meetings, workflow customization and client success roadmaps. The role sits at the intersection of sales, customer support and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle software onboarding and implementation for new and existing clients using Tekla Structures (Steel and Concrete configurations)
• Run technical discovery sessions, troubleshoot output customization issues and design tailored structural detailing workflows
• Create onboarding materials, system configurations and best-practice guidelines
• Help clients set realistic deployment milestones, give ongoing technical guidance and track project deliverables and engagement logs
• Act as the main onboarding link between Sales, Support and Product Development, and share customer feedback with engineering teams
• Promote the value of Professional Services to prospective clients

Required profile

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures across Steel and Concrete modules
• 6-7 years of structural detailing and design experience, with strong knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete workflows
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues independently and manage tight schedules with minimal supervision
